Landscape Sales Person

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of sales and estimating experience in the landscaping industry
  • Landscape design, estimating and project management experience required
  • Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets
  • Proven ability to draw plans and construction details
  • Well rounded knowledge base: plants, planting, wood, interlock, natural stone, grading, drainage
  • Experience with Dynascape, SketchUp, CAD and other design tool is an asset
  • Knowledge of City of Toronto code and permit requirements
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong Excel, Word, and Outlook skills required
  • Strong attention to detail, organized, self-motivated, dependable
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Flexible working hours
  • Clean Class G with driver’s abstract is required (own vehicle is an asset)
  • Landscape diploma or certification is an asset

Rate of Pay: To be negotiated – dependent on experience. Includes Sales Commission

Summer Maintenance Gardener – Lead Hand or Crew Member

Qualifications:

Lead Hand

  • At least 3 years Landscape Maintenance experience is required
  • Strong plant identification and gardening experience required
  • Ability to perform hard labour is required
  • Clean Class G with driver’s abstract is required
  • Strong communication skills are required
  • Horticultural Technician/Apprenticeship Certification is an asset
  • Experience in snowplowing/shoveling is an asset

Start Date: Immediately
Rate of Pay Lead Hand: $15.00 to $18.00 per hr. – dependent on experience

Crew Member

  • Landscape Maintenance experience or education is required
  • Good plant identification and gardening experience required
  • Ability to perform hard labour is required
  • Clean Class G with driver’s abstract is an asset
  • Horticultural Technician/Apprenticeship Certification is an asset
  • Experience in snowplowing/shoveling is an asset

Start Date: Immediately
Rate of Pay Crew Member: $12.00 to $15.00 per hr. – dependent on experience

Construction Lead Hand

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of interlocking experience including walkways, driveways, patios, walls and permeable paving, And/Or woodworking experience including, fencing, decks, pergolas.
  • Experience with site preparation required
  • Capable of physical labour
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Clean Class G with driver’s abstract is required
  • Experience driving in Toronto is an asset
  • Landscape diploma or certification is an asset
  • Experience in snowplowing/shoveling is an asset

Start Date: Immediate
Rate of Pay Lead Hand: $18.00 to $22.00 per hour – dependent on experience

Construction Crew Member

  • Experience with landscaping construction
  • Good knowledge of landscape construction installation techniques including laying interlock, landscape carpentry and planting
  • Proven ability to take direction
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Capable of physical labour
  • Clean Class G with driver’s abstract is required
  • Landscape diploma or certification is an asset
  • Experience in snowplowing/shoveling is an asset

Snow Plow Sub Contractors

Qualifications:

  • Owner/Operators of vehicles with plows and salters required
  • Clean Driver’s License abstract required
  • Some hand or equipment shovelling required
  • Ability to supervise shovelers is required
  • Ability to do hard labour for long hours is essential
  • Experience with winter snow removal work is essential
