Fall Garden And Container Arrangements

The trees in Toronto are starting to put on their fall show! Kick up your curb appeal a notch by bringing these fall colours into your garden and container arrangements. Garden mums are readily available now. They reflect the colour spectrum of the fall leaves. Match them with light or dark asters and cabbages and kales and compliment them with icicle pansies, ornamental peppers and millet or ornamental grasses to make impressive seasonal arrangements. Perennials like tall Sedum and Black-eyed Susan can be added to arrangements, either in garden beds or in containers. Bull rushes, gourds, corn, wicker balls, birch branches and plastic fruit can be added to container arrangements to enhance the overall effect. You could also incorporate Thanksgiving or Halloween themed items to your arrangement for real holiday flair.  Fall displays will generally last until late November when it’s time to put in winter holiday arrangements.
