As a full service landscaping company, we have designers on staff who provide the technical drawings to ensure a smooth and cost effective build. We encourage our clients to invest in the design process which takes a designer anywhere from 10 to 50 hours to complete depending on revisions. This timely process saves countless hours at the build end of landscaping. The goal is to find any hiccups and/or challenges that could occur before breaking ground or ordering materials. Proper technical designs/plans mean that crews and clients are on the same page as designers. It also means that several eyes will have looked over the plan before commencing work. This process will save money through controlled labour costs (no unexpected waiting or poorly calculated time), material costs (all materials can be accurately ordered and availability is able to be determined in advance), advanced ordering of specialized equipment, and a reduction in unexpected changes. Simple designs like driveways, garden beds, decks, walkways, stairways, porticos, interlocking brick patios, water features, trellises and arbors, outdoor kitchens, pool areas all require drawings with proper dimensions, grade and elevations marked.
