Brentwood Road, Etobicoke

Nestled within Toronto’s urban tapestry, this Brentwood Road home has traditional bones so the homeowners wanted a naturalized landscape that would enhance its beauty. Landcare designed and installed the stone and plant materials to replicate a wooded landscape found in nature. Incorporating lilies, grasses, cascading plants create a peaceful environment. The garden seamlessly blends the rugged beauty of boulders with the refined elegance of an English garden, resulting in a harmonious fusion of nature’s authenticity and human craftsmanship.

Carefully positioned rocks and boulders provide a grounded foundation. Lilies and ornamental grasses add a touch of delicate movement that capture the organic essence of the setting.

This cultivated oasis celebrates Toronto’s unique climate and landscape, as native flora coexist alongside carefully curated plant selections. The intricate foliage of coleus plants introduces subtle colour that contrast with the large foliage of the hostas that thrive in this mix of shade and sun garden. The cobblestone patio is accented by tasteful urns that exude sophistication.Landcare’s landscape design has allowed nature to take centre stage. The elegance of English garden traditions intertwines with the traditional architecture of this beautiful house. The resulting sanctuary provides these homeowners with a peaceful retreat and a welcoming space for reflection or communal gatherings.

Nature is always trying to return to its wild state, so it is vital that a newly landscaped property be properly maintained, less it will start to become overgrown and lose its shape.  Landcare offers a variety of services depending how much or little a homeowner wants to be involved in their property. We do urn and annual planting, we provide four season service that includes spring clean up, detaching, top dress, seed and fertilize of lawn and turf, garden weeding and mulch, leaf blowing/raking and removal, pruning, and more. Our subcontractors take care of the irrigation and lighting maintenance, but it’s all managed by Landcare.
